Dear Parents,
First quarter has just come to a close and our students brought home their report cards on Tuesday, October, 20. If you haven't had the opportunity yet, please review your child's report card with them and discuss how they are performing and what their goals are for second quarter. The middle school years are a vital time to stay connected with your child and their school experience. If you need another copy of the report card, please contact the counseling office at 348-3418.
Attendance has been higher this past week with 6th and 7th grade hovering around 95% - 96% for 6th and 7th grade, and 94% for 8th grade. Our district goal is 98% attendance for all grades. Consistent attendance is a strong predictor of student academic success. Help us prepare your children for success by making sure they are here every day and by scheduling appointments outside of school hours.
Our next Panther Parent meeting is Monday, October 26, at 7:00 p.m. in our school library. Please join us that evening. We will be discussing our school fundraiser and reviewing CSAP data to better understand how we can help our children succeed. Your involvement in our parent group is vital to the success of our school community!
