Immunizations
From the health office
As we enter the new school year, please remember to make sure your child's immunizations are up-to-date. State law requires that all students have a current immunization record on file. Keeping your child's vaccines current protects them from preventable diseases and helps keep our entire school community healthy. Please submit a copy of your child's updated immunization record to the school health office as soon as possible. Colorado law requires students who attend school to be vaccinated against many of the diseases vaccines can
protect against, unless a Certificate of Exemption is filed. If your student cannot get vaccines for medical reasons, you must submit a Certificate of Medical Exemption to
your school. If you choose not to have your student vaccinated for nonmedical reasons, you must submit a Certificate of Nonmedical Exemption to your school. Nonmedical exemptions must be submitted on an annual basis. Find more information about exemptions at https://cdphe.colorado.gov/exemptions-to-school-required-vaccines.
Please ensure that you have completed the Online Registration Forms (OLRs) for your student. This updated health and emergency information for each student allows the health office to be fully prepared for any health needs that may arise during the school year as well as gives permission for over the counter medication or first aid treatments. These forms need to be filled yearly, as they expire at the end of every school year.
Health Services
- Online registration forms (OLRs) need to be completed every school year. They do expire yearly and need to be updated. These forms give the health office permission to care for your child. If you have not done this for the 25/26 school year, please log in to your parent portal on Infinite Campus and complete them.
- Immunizations Exclusion date is coming up. Please ensure your scholar is up to date prior to October 31st. If you need information on where to get immunizations, please contact the health office at 970-348-3426.
